The moment you’ve been waiting for…as requested, I discovered a new recipe that replicates the amazingly delicious Pressed Juicery Freeze that’s taking all the popularity right now.
So maybe I have a slight addiction to the pressed juicery freeze…as I’m sure you know if you follow my instagram @bitesbyhay, but c’mon it’s a two-for-one: delicious AND healthy, basically my slogan here on the blog!
As amazing as it is, the freeze is a quite pricey indulgence, so I decided to make a recipe (mainly so I can treat myself whenever I want) and I swear it tastes exactly the same as the real thing!
Anyways, let’s get to the recipe which you can check out below! And if you make it yourself, snap a pic and use the hashtag #BBHcopycatfreeze so I can see all your beautiful creations!
Ingredients
2 cups of almond milk
1/4 cup coconut cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
4 pitted dates
a sprinkle of salt
Directions
Add all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend for 1 minute or until completely combined.
Pour the liquid into an ice cube tray and store it in the freezer overnight.
Once frozen, use a butter knife to lift each cube out of it’s pocket, and store in a freezer bag until ready to use.
For a single serving, remove 6 cubes and allow to thaw for 5 minutes. Add the 6 cubes along with 2-3 tbsp of water, and blend until smooth.
Pour into a bowl/jar and add all of your favorite toppings! I did frozen blueberries, almond slices, pumpkin seeds, cacao nibs, and an almond butter drizzle!
Enjoy!
